Our best to you in your preparations for the ’2008 Oregon Ironman! SPECIAL NOTE* We ask that you please do not telephone or email us for an accounting of others competing in your class, as that figure continually changes, and we are very busy in preparation for the upcoming event. *LOCATION: CHINOOK WINDS CASINO, LINCOLN CITY OREGON! / Contest will be held in the Showroom on the main floor. ACCOMODATION INFORMATION: There will be several Hotels offering special rates, watch online at rksmithproductions.com for updates coming soon. *NOTICE TO COMPETITORS: You must bring your own bed sheets and towels, as you will be charged if any of the Hotel linens are stained by your body tanning products.*ELGIBILITY: Entrants must be current NPC registered athletes. You may register with the NPC at early competitor check-in on Friday evening the 9th or final check-in on the 10th. 2008 NPC Registration fee is $80.00. Novice Bodybuilding Competitors must have not placed first in any NPC contest, if you have you must enter into the Open Category. Entrants must be Drug-free for a period of two years. This is a natural, polygraph tested event.

*ENTRY FEE: $60 per class entered. You may enter a maximum of two classes (if qualified) & Mixed pairs. Example: Master’s/Novice..or Master’s/Open..or Juniors/Novice, or Juniors & Open. A Bodybuilding combination of Open/Novice is not allowed.  Fitness/Figure entrants may compete in both Fitness & Figure/ or Master’s Figure/ & a Figure Height Class. The fee must accompany the entry form.  Double Entrants must pay an entry fee for both classes. Make check or money ordered payable to Ron & Susan Smith, R.K. Once you enter there are no entry refunds. “ON TIME ”ENTRY DEADLINE : Monday May 5th, 2008. After May 5th the late entry fee is: $80.00. *TEAM ENTRIES DUE BY APRIL 3OTH. (SEE LAST PAGE FOR  EXPLANATION OF THE TEAM AWARD) *ALL COMPETITORS entering before the deadline will receive a 2008 Oregon Ironman Contest  T-shirt at Competitor Registration, the subscriptions to Ironman Magazine are pending, on approval by Ironman Magazine.

*MUSIC: Music must be recorded on an audio CD’s (no MP3 Files) with your 60 second music being the only recording on the CD, no other form will be accepted. Music must be turned in at competitor check in or you will not be able to complete the check in process. *We reserve the right to substitute a house music recording if your music is not acceptable. * POSING ROUTINES: Your tape or CD may contain  NO PROFANITY. Attention: Bodybuilders will be allowed 60 seconds for their posing round and Women’s Fitness up to 2 minutes. Absolutely NO SEXUAL INNUENDOS are allowed in your routines or in your music. This is grounds for disqualification by NPC rules and will be enforced. If you have musical lyrics or routine “moves” that are questionable, please remove them from your routine & or music. This is an event attended by all, from kids to Grandma’s and Grandpa’s. *VIDEO: No video cameras or Tripods are allowed, no Professional Photographing will  be allowed. The competition will be professionally video taped by R.K. Smith Productions. Video & DVD orders will be taken at the event and post event orders may be called into R.K. *COMPETITORS REGISTRATION: Our check-in is located on the upper level of the Chinook Winds Casino in the Convention Center area. Early Check-in is Friday Evening from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. / * FINAL Bodybuilders Check-in is Saturday from 7:00 AM- 8:30 AM.  All competitors must have their posing suit under their sweats or clothing. Even if you are not in a weight class you still must show the NPC officials your suit. Competitors Please allow time to be processed through and finished Saturday before 8:30 AM.*GUIDLINES: All competitors will follow NPC rules, guidelines, and mandatory poses. The location of the SATURDAY Competitors Meeting is back in the Check in Room. Saturday AM Check in will close promptly at 8:30 AM and the Competitor Meeting will be at 9:20 AM.  The Competitor Meeting is Mandatory, as you will receive instruction. All contestants will be introduced and pose at the night show! Top 5’s will be called back for awards. *ALL COMPETITORS will be Judged on Saturday morning. This includes all Bodybuilders, Figure & Fitness Competitors. The Judging Event will begin at 10:00 AM Sat May 10th. Judging Round Admission is not pre-sold, entrance may begin at 9:00 AM, Admission cost is $15.00.

*TICKETING: Bodybuilding Championship FinalS Tickets are $30. All Seats are Reserved. Seating is our traditional Las Vegas Show Style: There are 8 seats at each table. Any remaining unsold seats will be available at the door beginning at 6:00 PM, however please keep in mind that there is not a price reduction for waiting to purchase until you reach the doors, therefore it is advised that you pre-purchase to guarantee your best possible seating. ATTN: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted for telephone ticket sales or telephoned in entry fee’s. *If you lose or forget your Finals tickets, you will not be entering without buying another ticket. No other sporting event, or concert would allow entrance without the ticket, and we can no longer do this either. It puts a burden on us, when we are on task expediting and managing an event. Please make sure that you have your tickets before you leave home for the event, please store them in a safe place at home after your purchase. Teams entering 5 or more Competitors into the 2008 OREGON IRONMAN will be awarded an engraved plaque or trophy commemorating their achievement. There will be an announcement of these Team Awards before the audience during the first portion of the Oregon Ironman Event. To be eligible you must have your entries grouped together, and either mailed on telephoned in by Wednesday April 30th. This is to allow us the proper time to prepare the award.
