2012 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO COMPETITORS: You must bring your own bed sheets and towels, as you will be charged if any of the Hotel linens are stained by your body tanning products. Your credit card will be charged if you ruin any hotel sheets or towels with your body stain.

Eligibility: Entrants must be current NPC registered athletes. You may register with the NPC at early competitor check-in on Friday evening the 18th or final check-in on the 19th. 2012 NPC Registration fee is continuing at $100.

This is an NPC National Qualifier, and is a non-tested contest. 1st Place Bodybuilding winners will qualify for NPC Nationals, 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Figure & Bikini & Physique will also qualify for a National contest.

Entry Fee: $80. You may enter a mximum of two classes (if qualified). Example: Master’s/Novice..or Master’s/Open..or Juniors/Novice, Juniors/Open, Bikini/Figure; Master’s Figure/ & a Figure Height Class is allowed. A Bodybuilding combination of Open/Novice is not allowed. The combination of Women's Physique and Women's Bodybuilding is not allowed by a 2012 NPC Rule. The fee must accompany the Entry Form. Double Entrants must pay an additional entry fee of $50 for a second class entry . Make check or money ordered payable to R.K. Smith Productions, PO Box 357 Hebo, Oregon 97122. You may also telephone your entry in to us with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or a Discover Credit Card. Once you enter there are no refunds, make sure that you are committed before entering.

“On time” Entry Deadline: Monday May 14th, 2012. You may enter after May14th, but you will be required to pay the Entry Fee of $120.00 per class, no exceptions.

Figure Competitors will have 1 round, Two Piece

Fitness Competitors will have one round for Judging:Two-piece Suit. The scoring is 1/3 physique & 2/3 Routine. Fitness Competitors will perform and be judged on their Routine during the Finals. They will be the opening Class. You will be brought out in a line up in your Routine Outfits for comparisons. Please remain back stage in your routine outfits as you will be called to the stage following Jr Men Bodybuilding and Awards will be presented.

Tanning: NORTHWEST COMPETITION COLORING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE 2012 OREGON IRONMAN. THEY WILL BE SPRAYING JAN TANA'S ON STAGE COMPETITION COLOR ON THE OREGON IRONMAN COMPETITORS BY APPOINTMENT. Music: Music must be recorded on an AUDIO CD’s (no MP3 Files) with your 60 second music being the only recording on the CD, no other form will be accepted. Music must be turned in at Competitor Check in or you will not be able to complete the check in process. *We reserve the right to substitute a house music recording if your music is not acceptable.

Posing Routines: Your CD must not contain PROFANITY. Attention: Bodybuilders will be allowed 60 seconds for their posing round and Women’s Fitness up to 2 minutes. Please NO SEXUAL INNUENDOS are allowed in your routines or in your music. This is grounds for disqualification by NPC rules and will be enforced. If you have musical lyrics or routine “moves” that are questionable, please remove them from your routine & or music. This is an event attended by all, from young children to Grandparents.. Please be respectful. Bodybuilders, if you have a prop you want to use in your routine, it must be pre-approved by the event Promoter, Ron or Susan Smith. Props are not allowed in the new Men or Women's Physique Class.

Video: No video cameras or Tripods are allowed, no Professional Photographing will be allowed. The competition will be professionally video taped by R.K. Smith Productions, and Event Photography is offered by Nicola Harrison Photography. Video & DVD orders will be taken at the event and post event orders may be called into R.K. Smith Productions @ 503.376.6361

COMPETITORS REGISTRATION: Check-in is located on the upper level of the Chinook Winds Casino in the Convention Center area. Early Check-in is Friday Evening from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. / The final Check-in is Saturday from 7:30 AM- 8:30 AM. All Bodybuilding, Physique, Figure and Bikini Competitors must have their posing suit under their sweats or clothing. Even if you are not in a weight class you still must show the NPC officials your suit. Bikini Competitors are suggested to bring a second suit. All Ladies competing, please make sure your suits are legal by NPC Standards. Please bring a secong suit with you, if you are in doubt. You will be marked down in scoring, if your suit does not provide proper NPC coverage. Competitors please allow time to be processed through and finish Saturday before 8:00 AM. When traveling in on Saturday morning to check in, please allow extra time for heavy traffic.

Guidelines: All competitors will follow NPC rules, guidelines, and mandatory poses. The location of the SATURDAY Competitors Meeting is in the Check in Room. Saturday AM Check in will close promptly at 8:30 AM and the Competitor Meeting will begin at 9:00 AM. The Competitor Meeting is Mandatory, as you will receive instruction. Only Competitors entered into the contest are allowed at the meeting. All contestants will be introduced and pose at the night show. Top 5’s will be called back for awards.

*All Competitors will be Judged on Saturday morning. This includes all Bodybuilders, Physique, Figure, and Bikini Competitors. Fitness Competitors will be judged in your Two pc Suit only. (Fitness routines are judged during the finals & scores are tabulated at the Finals)

The Judging Event will begin at 10:00 AM Sat May 19th. Judging Round Admission is $20. Entrance may begin at 9:00 AM.

Tickets on sale: Feb 1. Call the Smith's at: 503.376.6361. The Sat. May 19th Bodybuilding Championship Final Performance all Tickets are $30 & $40. A Combination Ticket isavaliable for both sessions at a $5 discount from normal pricing.. (the combination ticket must be telephone purchased in advance.) It is a $5 savings, and it provides your Reserved Finals Seat, plus 10:00 AM Judging Round entrance. Your Judging Round Seat is not a reserved seat, it is first to enter, best seating. All Finals Seats are Reserved. Seating is traditional Las Vegas Show Style: There are 8 seats at each table. Unsold Finals Tickets will be available at the door beginning at 6:00 PM.

Team Trainers entering 5 or more Competitors into the 2012 OREGON IRONMAN will be awarded a plaque or trophy commemorating their achievement. There will be an announcement of these Team Awards before the audience during the first portion of the Oregon Ironman Event. To be eligible you must have your entries grouped together, and either mailed in by Monday May 7th. This is to allow us the proper time to prepare the award.
