R.K. SMITH PRODUCTION EVENT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Q. When can I purchase a ticket?
A. Tickets may be purchased at a time determined by R.K. Smith Productions, which will be well in advance of each of our events.Q. Where can I purchase these tickets?
Example: Feb 1st of each year our Oregon Ironman Event Tickets go on sale.
July 15th of each year our Seven Feathers Classic Tickets will be on sale.A. You may purchase the tickets over the telephone by calling us at 503.398.2859. Your purchase can be made with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express or a Discover Card. If you prefer to mail a check or a money order, you may do so with a note requesting your tickets. Mail to: R.K. Smith Productions/ PO Box 357 / Hebo, ORQ. Is there a service charge added to the ticket price?You may also check with Sports Nutrition Center in Tigard OR, as are often a ticket outlet for in person purchases.
A. No, we do not charge a service charge per ticket, and no mailing charge.Q. When will I recieve my ticket order?A. Your tickets will be mailed the day following your telephone order, or the day following our receipt in our mail of your check and ticket order.Q. How is the seating arranged?A. Our seating is table seating, we refer to as " Las Vegas Style Seating", as you can purchase your seats in groups or blocks and sit together as you would at a Las Vegas Show! There are 8 seats to each table for our 2008 Oregon Ironman, at Seven Feathers we have tables of 10..Q. Can you hold seats at a table for my friends and family to call back and purchase?A. we cannot. We are sorry but we cannot hold seats unless they are purchased. It is best to arrange your group in advance and have one person put the charge for the tickets on a Bank Card, and then collect back for the other people joining them at the table This is the only sure way to be all together..Q. Can I request to be at a certain table or ask to sit as near as possible to my friends or family?A. Yes!, we do keep a record of who is sitting where, and we will do our very best to get you as near your friends and family as we possibly can when you call for your tickets.Q. I am competing, do I need a ticket?A. You are not required to have a ticket to enter the doors. However, please keep in mind that we will continue to fill the tables, and where ever your friends, family, spouse or partner is sitting will no longer have any empty seats. If you go to the table to visit during the event you will be blocking the views of those who have purchased a seat. You will not be allowed to do that, as our security watches for that and will ask you to go to the back of the Ballroom and not block views. I usually suggest that Bodybuilders buy a seat with their people. You will have one Class, and then what will you do with the remainder of the show? It adds alot of fun to your experience to be able to celebrate with your people, at their table.Q. Can Children/Minors attend our Events?A. Yes, they may attend our Events, they do however need to purchase a ticket. If they are 2 years old & over they are required a seat. We sincerely discourage you from bringing babies and very small children to our Events. Because you will be at a table with others, your children will be affecting the table group as well as those tables arround you. It is not fair to expect small children to sit still and watch an event, as their attention spans are still too short. Generally children above 10 years are able to appreciate and understand what the event is all about. We have a limited number of seats in our Ballroom/Showroom, and therefore we need to charge everyone who enters.Q. Can I move to a closer table if there are empty seats?A. NO. Even though there may be no one is sitting in a seat at the time, unless you have a ticket for that table you can be taking a seat that someone else has paid for. People mill around, they visit the Vendors, they visit the Bar, and they sometimes come late. Their seat must be available for them, whenever they chose to sit there.Q. How close to the Event date can I still call and get tickets?*The only portion of the event where you can move forward to empty table seats is the Bodybuilding Judging Round on Saturday at 10:00 AM. That is because this is a General Admission Event, we call it Open Seating, and people seat them selves.
Q. Can you hold tickets in WILL CALL for me?A. We will cut off telephone sales on Monday the week of either event. That means we will take your order on Monday before noon, and mail it the same day. As we advertise our ticket sale dates, and everyone knows that we have been selling tickets for months, please do not wait until the last week to call. If you have waited, your option is to buy your tickets at the Doors.
* With the return of the Oregon Ironman to Chinook Winds Casino, you are encouraged to purchase well in advance as this event always sold out in the past when we produced it from this location.
A. No. We will not do WILL CALL. If you have not purchased, and still want to attend the event, again you will be able to buy your tickets at the door, one hour prior to each event.Q. What happens if I purchased tickets and I find out that I cannot attend the Event, can I receive a refund?A. There are no refunds or exchanges. This is following the protocol of other Special Events, Concert or Sporting Events. Once you purchase a ticket ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If you are not absolutely certain on attending, do not purchase in advance, wait until the event arrives and get your tickets at the door. If there are no reserved seats left at the door, you will be allowed to purchase a standing room ticket. You won't be turned away after making the drive to the resort.*If you find yourself with tickets, and now do not want to attend you may be able to sell your tickets to other at your Gym or Health Club. Ask around, and you will find someone competing, or who knows someone that may want to buy you tickets.

Q. What happens if I forget or lose my tickets?
We cannot be responsible and will not repalce your tickets. Please do not ask us. This is the policy for almost anything you would by tickets for. If you forget your concert or football tickets, you muct by more to enter, and if you forget your tickets to our event..you will also have to purchse again. We are on task running our event, and we can not replace your tickets, or let you in, so please do not ask us. We also are subject to ticketing fraud, and so we are firm on our policy!
*Please put your tickets into a safe place after your purchase until you are ready to leave for the event, and make sure they are in your hand when you drive away from home.
